Two years

Two years ago, this happened:

Slightly better weather than this year.
What happened in the meantime?

- I am not offended by being called Madam, or Madame, or Mevrouw
- I feel delighted when people call me Miss
- I graduated both my degrees
- I have been partying more than in my teen years together
- I have become wiser ;-)
- I put on weight, lost weight, put on weight, lost weight, etc
- I sleep less
- I started drinking espresso
- I became co-owner of a house
- I still haven't got my drivers licence
- I go shopping more
- I cook less (just wait till I have a kitchen :-)
- I shout more
- I daydream less
- I nag more
- I fall asleep at work easier
- I find jobs easier
- I lose my patience easier
- I bike faster (than a snail)
- I speak better Dutch and worse Romanian
- I know more people
- I have better IT skills
- I change my mind more often
- if I had a choice, I would never iron again (why is there a dishwasher but not an ironing-machine-slave-robot-slave-something?)
- the Husband hears/listens less what I say and more digital TV
- he mumbles more
- he drinks more tea and less coffee
- we speak worse English
- he works a lot in the house
- I come home later, if I can, and wake up later, if I can too
- the Husband still loves me (confirmed this morning)
- I still love the Husband (confirmed too)

How interesting! You actually spent more time on shopping than before? I remember quite vividly our shopping tour before Roel's first visit to London - do you still have the pieces you bought that day?
Otherwise it is usually the other way round - as soon as you get married, you stop clubbing every weekend, for you have to become a decent "housewife" - I hope you will never become a "desperate housewife"!
But I am quite confident that Roel will have a decent influence on you peculuar habbits and satisfy you needs!

The idea was, marriage is not the end, but the beginning :-) Firstly, I have more to spend, my own earning of course, so I go shopping more. And yes, I still have those things I bought before he first came to London, and the things I bought with Elena in Berlin before that. But I think you meant the things I bought before I first went to Belgium myself ;-)
Clubbing is good for you, I don't stop with that. And I was never the every weekend type, so it's acceptable.
I am neither a decent housewife, nor a desperate one. I think... And you'd be surprised, but I don't think I am the one with the most peculiar habits. As for needs, you know I'm too bloody demanding... :-)
