Part 4 - Voyage, voyage...
Probably the most time-consuming and enjoyable thing I had to do during the stage is organising trips. Obviously I became an expert in Belgian tourism. If anyone wants tips or contacts for organising a guided tour of the many beautiful towns around here, let me know. Or, again, use google.
Since words are not enough this time, some pictures would most likely be more useful.
Bruges, October 16 - city tour and brewery visit. My first experience as stagiaire trip organiser. I was carrying around a blue balloon for people to see me, since I am not the tallest person. I didn't have an umbrella to use in this purpose, since weather treated us with one of those great sunny days.
Dinant, October 29 - Still nice weather. Enjoying the benefits of a chaotic Belgian train system. But at least drinking Leffe in the middle of the street outside the beer museum.
Leuven, November 5 - guided tour of the old town. Freezing cold. Best chocolate mousse. No balloon this time. Group picture in the Oude Markt.
Paris, November 19-20 - No, Paris is not in Belgium, but rather close. And fortunately, we saw no burning cars. Still freezing. Including in the bus on the way back. Enjoying the sun on the steps of Montmartre.
Antwerp, November 26 - Raining. Freezing. The usual. Too busy shopping to take pictures. Ok, they may be on the home pc, that I don't remember. Nice pizza. And not that much shopping in fact.
La Bresse, February 1-5 - France. Les Vosges. The famous ski trip. By far the best trip. Unfortunately, the last trip. But it was definitely worth it. Late après-ski in a Chinese restaurant. The Italian speaking group.
